NOC Technician (2nd Shift)
Join our dynamic team as a NOC Technican and become a vital part of ensuring the seamless operation of cutting-edge fiber optic networks. This exciting second shift opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate and a chance to work on the frontline of telecommunications technology. As a NOC Tech, you'll monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues in real-time, providing exceptional support to customers and collaborating closely with field teams to maintain optimal network performance.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor network elements, performance, and facilities to detect and resolve issues swiftly
- Work directly with Field Operations and NOC team members on trouble tickets, coordinating diagnosis and repair
- Troubleshoot DWDM, MPLS, SONET, and other network equipment
- Manage trouble tickets efficiently, documenting actions and updates
- Perform circuit testing, interpret network signals, and support network upgrades
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in telecommunications or technical training related to network operations
- Strong familiarity with trouble ticketing systems and network monitoring tools
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, fiber optics, and circuit testing procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a 24/7 environment
- Flexibility to work Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
- Technical training in telecommunications or related field
- Over 1 year of hands-on NOC experience in a telecommunications setting
- Willingness to work flexible hours in a 24/7 operational environment
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and on-site support as needed
Estimated Min Rate: $24.00
Estimated Max Rate: $26.00
