SAP Interface

The SAP Interface specialist is responsible for the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support of SAP interfaces. The role incorporates a combination of SAP ABAP skills and modern API frameworks to enable system-to-system communication, data exchange, and integration. Understanding of best practices and modern, standard API integration techniques is required. Responsibilities include defining integration requirements, participating in large systems and subsystem planning, ensuring adherence to schedules, and developing technical integration documentation (including interface data mapping documents for XML, flat files, iDocs, and eDocs).

The SAP Interface specialist works closely with the functional team and middleware team to translate business requirements into technical interface design.

Key responsibilities:

• Incorporate SAP ABAP skills and modern API frameworks to support system-to-system integration and data exchange
• Apply modern, standard API integration techniques and best practices
• Define integration requirements and participate in system and subsystem planning
• Ensure adherence to schedules and delivery timelines
• Develop technical integration documentation, including interface data mapping (XML, flat files, iDocs, eDocs)
• Work closely with functional and middleware teams to translate business requirements into technical interface design

Here's what you need:

• Minimum 2-year degree and 5 years experience OR 10 years experience

Nice to have:

• Experience with S/4 interfaces
• Experience with interfaces using BTP Integration Suite or Mule Soft

Eligibility requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen (no dual citizens)
• Active Q or TS clearance preferred

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
