Position Summary & Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position is open to Kansas Department Of Health & Environment
- Agency Only.

The KS TRAIN Prog Manager position (K0235802) will oversee Kansas TRAIN learning management system (LMS): monitor the system to ensure it is available to users; report technical issues to the vendor and ensure they are resolved; work with existing users to keep system profiles up-to-date and assist new users in creating accounts. manage user accounts; provide user support and updates by phone, email, and other communication methods;

manage course records; utilize periodic user satisfaction surveys and other mechanisms to assess areas of improvement for both customer service and technical support in coordination with Kansas TRAIN administrator.

Coordinate Kansas TRAIN learning opportunities:
Design and conduct Kansas TRAIN system training both live and online; conduct trainings for course providers; create online tutorials and other resources (hard copy, video, online courses) to ensure users can effectively use the system; ensure all user guides, training materials and system documentation are up-to-date; coordinate process for uploading learning opportunities (live and online); post courses, exercises, conferences and training plans to Kansas TRAIN;

promote live and online Kansas TRAIN learning opportunities through multiple communication channels.

Database management:
Review current courses (live and online) and training plans regularly and ensure they are up to date in the system; monitor continuing education requirements for certain courses; create and manage reports and exports for organizational requirements and performance management.

Develop online courses for Kansas TRAIN in collaboration with team members; assist with development of e-learning modules and other training opportunities (can include video development, webinars, audio components, image editing); use production tools including Lectora, Camtasia, and other video/audio production products to…
