The Director, Head of Performance Management, Advanced Analytics and Reporting leads the development of a business-driven, centralized data and analytics capability that serves as the backbone for performance management, reporting, and advanced analytics across the commercial organization. The role is accountable for translating evolving business priorities—such as growth, market expansion, and product launches—into a scalable analytics ecosystem, standardized KPIs, and AI-enabled capabilities

, this role operates at the intersection of business, data, and technology. The Director leads a multidisciplinary team of regional business partners and centralized analytics experts, while collaborating closely with Business Units, Regional Leadership, FP&A, Digital, and CFIT/IT

Together, these partnerships enable the delivery of an integrated, end-to-end view of commercial performance—connecting execution, insights, and outcomes into a single, consistent performance narrative across markets. This role will play a critical leadership role in transforming the analytics operating model from a centralized, IT-dependent approach to a business-driven, self-service ecosystem enabled by modern data platforms and AI capabilities. The Director will drive the evolution of reporting and analytics to empower business users to independently access insights, customize analyses, and make faster, data-driven decisions—reducing reliance on others for standard reporting needs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a centralized Performance Management, Advanced Analytics and Reporting Hub acting as the backbone for analytics globally and across BUs for the Commercial organization.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of business partners and technical experts, fostering an agile, collaborative, and high-performance culture
  • Lead the transformation of analytics and reporting capabilities toward a self-service, business-facing model, leveraging modern data platforms and AI-enabled tools to enhance user autonomy and scalability
  • Drive adoption of self-service analytics and AI-enabled insights generation, enabling business users to customize reporting and conduct advanced analyses with minimal dependency on centralized teams
  • Operate as a hands‑on, execution‑oriented leader, willing and able to directly problem‑solve, structure analyses, and deliver critical outputs when needed
  • Act as a proactive and anticipatory thought partner to senior stakeholders, identifying opportunities, surfacing insights, and shaping decisions ahead of formal business requests
  • Translate current and future business priorities (growth, launches, market expansion) into a scalable analytics and data ecosystem roadmap
  • Define and operationalize a single source of truth across KPIs, dashboards, and reporting globally
  • Drive the development of a business‑driven analytics product portfolio (datasets, dashboards, models) aligned to key decision points
  • Lead a forward‑looking AI and advanced analytics strategy, embedding predictive insights into commercial workflows
  • Own the analytics data layer including KPI logic, curated datasets, and reporting models
  • Establish and enforce data governance, quality, and validation frameworks to ensure consistency and trust in data
  • Act as a strategic partner to BUs and regional leadership, translating data into actionable insights and business impact
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment with IT (CFIT), Digital, and FP&A to deliver integrated, end‑to‑end reporting (execution → performance → outcomes)
EDUCATION
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
  • MBA (strongly preferred)
EXPERIENCE
  • 10–15+ years in data, analytics, or strategy roles, ideally within pharma, healthcare, or complex global organizations
  • Proven experience leading data & analytics functions, hubs, or COEs
