Salary Range: $12.00 Hourly
Our team is growing! We are now accepting applications for part-time employment as a Delivery Specialist.
We are seeking candidates who excel in providing prompt, friendly, and positive experiences for patients and team members. The position requires maintaining confidentiality, the ability to multi-task, and paying close attention to detail.
A positive attitude, strong communication, and some computer skills are required. A valid driver’s license is required. Customer service and/or medical services-related experience preferred.
EDUCATION- High School diploma or equivalent

- Valid driver’s license
- Dependable Vehicle

- Friendly and energetic personality
- Ability to handle multiple tasks within prescribed time frames efficiently and effectively
- Ability to take initiative to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position
- Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain an organized workflow
- Must be committed to close follow-up and completion of all assigned tasks
- Possess basic computer and data input skills
- Skilled in operation of basic office equipment such as copier, fax, and telephone
- Must be able to communicate and work well with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, customers, peers, and superiors in a cordial and professional manner
- Ability to use cash register with accuracy and efficiency
- Good verbal skills
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Vision and hearing correctable to normal
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Good short and long-term memory
- Recognize own limitations and seek assistance when required
- Make medication deliveries of medication and products to patients as needed (generally within the city limits)
- Provide proper documentation and record keeping for deliveries made to customers
- Provide exemplary service to customers
- Communicate with other employees in the store on the delivery plan
- Occasional delivery of medical equipment
- Use of personal vehicle may occasionally be required – mileage to be reimbursed at federal rate
- Maintaining a clean and organized work space in the delivery vehicle
- Occasionally shared housekeeping duties such as sweeping, dusting, cleaning, etc. of the delivery vehicle
- Function within the limits of the law and Midwest Family Health policies and procedures and the employee manual
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned to assist in the smooth, efficient operation of the store
