Custodian​/Janitor

Delta Innovative Services is a commercial and industrial roofing company based in Kansas City, KS. We're seeking a Custodian / Janitor to maintain office cleanliness and other duties as assigned.

• Cleaning & Sanitizing:
  Cleaning desks, common areas, break rooms, and restrooms daily.
• Floor Care:
  Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing floors.
• Waste Removal:
  Emptying trash and recycling bins, ensuring they are relined.
• Supply Management:
  Replenishing soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, and monitoring inventory.
• Maintenance & Security:
  Performing minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs) and other odds and ends as requested
• Safety Adherence:
  Following safety guidelines for cleaning chemicals and reporting hazards.

• Experience:
  
  Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is often preferred, but not always required.
• Physical Ability:
  Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift heavy objects (often up to 35-50 lbs), and bend or climb.
• Skills:
  
  Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently.
• Reliability:
  Dependability is key, with many positions requiring early morning work.

• Work is typically done indoors in an office, but may include exterior maintenance such as clearing entrances of snow or debris.
• Position is full-time for 40 hours per week, often before regular business hours
