Likwifier is hiring a Welder (Class
B) to join our growing production team. With over 100 years of combined experience in the food processing equipment industry, we design and build high-quality, custom solutions for our customers.
If you have experience in TIG welding stainless steel and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel
- Read and execute work instructions from blueprints and shop orders
- Complete basic grinding, deburring, and polishing
- Inspect materials and finished parts for quality standards
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and shop tools
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
- 3+ years TIG welding experience (stainless steel preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers)
- Experience with fabrication and finishing stainless steel
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills:
- Electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, or plumbing experience
- Experience with overhead cranes and shop equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
- Perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable and dependable team member
