As a CNC Machinist, you will set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to manufacture high‑quality railroad track materials. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and G‑code, and the confidence to problem‑solve on the spot. You’ll work with 3 and 5‑axis CNC machines, ensuring precise execution of machining tasks while maintaining high production standards. Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce rail components with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, G‑code, and machine specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect finished products, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments.
- Utilize manual tools and equipment as needed to support production.
We’re looking for a dedicated CNC Machinist with proven experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment. You should be highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working with minimal supervision. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions are critical. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with familiarity with measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
