The Black Mastermind Group seeks a part-time Community Advocate to increase awareness of services and connect with Wyandotte County entrepreneurs, focusing on outreach, engagement, and event support. Key duties include driving program applications, supporting events, and fostering connections in the community to boost member engagement.

Position Summary

The Community Advocate will serve as the liaison between The Black Mastermind Group and local entrepreneurs in Wyandotte County. The ideal candidate will build awareness of available educational resources, coaching, and funding opportunities, while connecting with business owners to facilitate participation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outreach & Engagement:
    Actively identify and engage with entrepreneurs in Wyandotte County to promote the organization's services.
  • Event Support:
    Assist with the planning and execution of signature events, including workshops, showcases, and networking sessions.
  • Community Awareness:
    Promote The Black Mastermind Group's mission, coaching services, and financial resources to potential members.
  • Relationship Management:
    Build relationships with local business owners to understand their needs and connect them with appropriate resources.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the Wyandotte County entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Passion for supporting businesses and community development.
