Nurse Practitioner

Attention all Nurse Practitioners, we are seeking independent contractors to provide services to our Military Service members.

Work primarily on weekends, with occasional weekdays under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in Kansas, on an "as needed" basis.

We provide health readiness services to meet medical and dental requirements for maintaining a deployable military force for the following branches:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities:

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, medical records, and questionnaires.
• Interview service members to assess current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns, including behavioral health issues.
• Document interview results for readiness classification using our proprietary system.

Requirements:

• Supervising physician may be required depending on state regulations.
• Active NP license in the state.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or occupational health is preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with high volumes of service members.
• Able to work extended hours and travel, including weekends (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

  Diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing medications are not required.
