This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in school health settings, located in Kansas City, KS. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and health education
• Manage chronic conditions and medication administration according to established protocols
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop individualized health plans for students
• Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records
• Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed
• Promote health awareness initiatives and assist in disease prevention efforts

Desired Skills and

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Previous experience as a school nurse or in a similar pediatric healthcare role preferred
• Strong knowledge of school health policies and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and school personnel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
