Overview
The Psychiatric Mental Health Advance Practice Provider (APP) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health care within a collaborative team including physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluating, diagnosing, monitoring, and managing patients using advanced assessment skills and clinical therapeutics, in partnership with a supervising physician.
Requirements- Post Graduate Degree and Advanced Practice Clinician Licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications
No Prior Experience Required.
Skills- Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills
- Mathematical, analytical, and reading comprehension skills
- Proficiency in computer applications and medical record charting
Managing stress, making decisions under pressure, and handling multiple priorities independently.
Working ConditionsExposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases; physical demands include prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and manual dexterity.
