• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the CVOR, including scrub and circulating responsibilities for cardiovascular procedures
• Maintain sterile technique, manage instrument counts, and anticipate the needs of the surgical team
• Monitor intraoperative patient status, manage hemodynamic support documentation, and communicate with anesthesia and surgical staff
• Prepare, troubleshoot, and manage CVOR equipment and inventories; assist with case setup and turnover between procedures
• Document intraoperative events and maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team; participate in on‑call/holiday coverage as required

• Active Kansas RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience in a Level I trauma center
• Recent strong scrub experience on cardiac surgeries and circulating experience
• Ability to work in a high-acuity operating room environment and participate in on‑call/holiday coverage
