Looking for an opportunity to be a lead nurse? Saint Luke’s Community Hospital at the Legends is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. As an ED RN on this team, you will have the opportunity to perform ongoing assessments and provide direct patient care to a variety of acuity levels and conditions.
Shift DetailsFull Time Days, 12 hour shifts. Previous ED RN experience preferred.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate ability to manage care within the established standards of nursing care and practice as defined by the state.
- Appropriately triage patients and prioritize needs, displaying a caring and responsive attitude.
- Initiate care to stabilize patients and assist in managing life support needs by collaborating with physicians and clinical staff, demonstrating appropriate admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
- Collect detailed patient histories and symptoms, including vital signs, and provide appropriate care in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
- Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with CLIA regulations and established policies and procedures.
- Report adverse treatments or medications in accordance with current policies and procedures.
- Prepare patient meals.
- Participate in QAPI activities, including accreditation preparation and survey processes, and maintain accreditation, state, and CMS standards.
- Patient-centered, self‑driven, and motivated ED nurse committed to providing exceptional patient care.
- Capable of working in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously.
- Comfortable in high‑pressure situations, able to manage time, highly organized, task-oriented, resourceful, and possessing strong communication skills.
- Compassionate and seeking an exciting opportunity to spend more time with patients in an emergency department setting.

Job Requirements- 3–5 years of Registered Nurse experience (KS), National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS) associated degree.
- Full Time Day shift – United States of America.
