TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13‑week assignment in Kansas City, Kansas.

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑surgery care and education.
• Act as communication liaison between patients’ families and the operating team.
• Ensure correct procedures are performed on the correct patient.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Maintain instruments and supplies, supervise inventory pre‑ and post‑procedure.
• Monitor equipment during surgery.
• Administer comfort and safety procedures. For RN first assistant: deliver direct surgical care, control bleeding, suture patients following surgery.
• Work with scrub and circulating duties as applicable.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 1–2 years of recent acute‑care experience.
• Experience as circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant preferred.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required before assignment.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs routinely, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced surgical environment with exposure to chemicals or infectious diseases.
