Regional Executive Director, Care Management (RN)
Full-Time | Days
Location: Advent Health Mid America Region (MAR)– Shawnee Mission, South Overland Park, Lenexa, and Ottawa

Advent Health is seeking an experienced Regional Executive Director of Care Management to provide strategic leadership across the Mid America Region (MAR), supporting our hospitals in Shawnee Mission, South Overland Park, Lenexa, and Ottawa.

This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing Care Management, Care Coordination, Social Services, Utilization Management, Transitions of Care, and the Post-Acute Care Collaborative. Working closely with regional and campus executive leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams, the Regional Executive Director will develop and implement strategies that improve patient outcomes, optimize resource utilization, strengthen care transitions, reduce avoidable readmissions, and support exceptional patient experiences.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in acute care nursing and Care Management leadership, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams, driving operational improvement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and using data to improve quality and financial performance across a complex healthcare system.

Required Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Minimum of 10 years of acute care clinical nursing experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Care Management, Case Management, Utilization Review, Care Coordination, Social Services, or a related field.

  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the Mid America Region.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related healthcare field.

  • Certified Case Manager (CCM).

  • Leadership experience in a multi-hospital health system.

  • Knowledge of Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI), ICD-10 coding principles, Inter Qual and/or Milliman criteria.
