Every patient deserves attentive, timely, and well coordinated care. As the RN Coordinator for ED Flow/Throughput, you will play a key role in ensuring patients move through the Emergency Department with clarity, clinical support, and thoughtful coordination. By aligning staffing, patient placement, and clinical resources, you'll help teams deliver care that is organized, safe, and patient centered. And in moments of urgency and complexity, your leadership will keep caregivers connected, supported, and focused on their mission to care for and improve human life.

Your role will include:

• Communication regarding flow daily with all ED staff.
• Use process flow map at all times for consistency from shift to shift.
• Ensure Direct Bedding is happening daily.
• Ensure patients are on deck for triage and subwaiting.
• Lightening rounds with providers with supporting documentation of issues to be turned into ED leadership daily.
• Facilitation of discharges. Delegation of tasks. (i.e. Medication administration, team triage, etc.)
• Facilitation of resources for code responses (Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI)
• Surge Plan implementation Real time focused metric evaluation. (dispo to leave, low acuity LOS, Inpatient: bed assigned to patient in a bed. Etc.)
• Evaluation of TrackER, BMAC and the Meditech Bed Board Relief Coordinator when assigned
• Other duties as assigned Oversees the improvement of operational functions of the department
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse Registered Nurse Diploma No Travel Required
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
