Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring KS or compact RN license and at least one year of hospital telemetry experience.

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Associate's degree in nursing required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Telemetry RN in a hospital setting required

• General med-surg/telemetry unit with 36 beds (29 rooms and 7 semi-private spaces)
• Patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• 12-hour night shifts,
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May occasionally float to acute care or overflow/surge units housing med-surg patients
• Nicotine-free facility
• Must attend in-person NEO orientation Monday and Tuesday of start week, DON training Wednesday and Thursday, and virtual Epic training Friday
• Holiday coverage required based on unit needs; must work two major holidays, choosing from Thanksgiving Eve/Day, Christmas Eve/Day, or New Year's Eve/Day
• Accepts local and travel candidates at the same bill rate
