Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Wichita, Kansas, 67208!

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Rehabilitation)

Wichita, KS | Acute Rehab

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Assist in rehabilitation care plans established by an interdisciplinary team
• Perform lab draws, administer IV antibiotics, IV medications, and blood administration as needed
• Conduct head-to-toe assessments and perform wound vac dressing changes
• Operate unit equipment including patient lifts, iSTAT, glucometer, and administer inhalers and breathing treatments
• Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR
• Educate patients and family members on care plans and rehabilitation programs

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification required

• CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse) certification
• Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in a post-acute setting
• Experience with telemetry patients; ability to pass Airstrip telemetry competency
• ACLS certification

• Work within a well-staffed rehabilitation unit with a collaborative, interdisciplinary care team in a patient-centered environment
• Gain meaningful experience in a post-acute rehabilitation setting with a patient ratio of 1:6
