Scientist / Senior Scientist – Emulsifiers R&D

Up to 20–30% (overnight as needed)
I'm seeking a Scientist or Senior Scientist to lead R&D initiatives in emulsifiers, supporting innovation across food, personal care, pet food, and more. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert, driving projects from concept to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating science into business results.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute R&D projects (design, lab work, data analysis, reporting)
- Act as technical expert in emulsifier technologies
- Mentor junior scientists; present findings internally/externally
- Support patent, publication, and compliance efforts
- Bachelor’s in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master’s/PhD preferred)
- 2+ years industrial R&D experience (up to 10 years for Senior Scientist)
- Strong lab and project management skills
- Knowledge of emulsifier functionality and ingredient interactions
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- $115,000 – $125,000 base salary + 10% bonus
