The Barista at Joe Merchant’s Coffee Shop is responsible for crafting high‑quality beverages, delivering exceptional guest service, and maintaining a vibrant, beach‑inspired atmosphere. You’ll be the friendly face that starts our guests’ mornings with warmth, efficiency, and a little tropical twist.

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to recipe standards
• Create island‑inspired guest interactions that reflect the Margaritaville lifestyle
• Operate the POS system accurately and handle cash/credit transactions responsibly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked coffee station
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Engage guests with upbeat energy and genuine hospitality
• Work collaboratively with team members to keep service flowing smoothly

• Previous barista or food & beverage experience preferred (but we can teach the right vibe!)
• Positive attitude with a passion for guest service
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining quality
• Strong communication skills and a team‑first mindset
• Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
