Overview2020 Companies is hiring a Traveling Retail Sales Lead to lead our client sales program across the Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) footprint. This dynamic District Manager role will act as the lead strategist and primary sales driver for a specified location while coaching, managing, and inspiring a team of Part‑Time Sales Specialists at two additional NFM locations.
As the District Manager, you will be the bridge between brand strategy and retail execution, spending your time on the sales floor and developing a team into experts in the client’s product ecosystem. This role offers the opportunity to lead the frontline of innovation for one of the world’s most iconic brands.
Compensation- Salary: $50,000 plus quarterly incentive
- Work Locations:
Primary hub in Kansas City, NFM, with oversight of Omaha and Plano NFM locations.

- Player‑Coach Leadership:
Serve as the lead brand expert and primary sales driver while managing PT Specialists remotely and in person. - Inspire & Sell:
Proactively engage shoppers, demonstrate client products, and exceed personal sales targets. - Team Development:
Recruit, onboard, coach, conduct performance reviews, side‑by‑side coaching, and virtual syncs. - Drive District Growth:
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and exceed district‑wide sales targets. - Strategic Retail Partnerships:
Forge collaborations with NFM corporate and store management to ensure optimal product positioning. - Empower NFM Associates:
Conduct large‑scale training sessions across the district. - Operational Excellence:
Maintain product displays in line with brand standards. - Executive Reporting:
Provide insights on performance, competitor activity, and field feedback.
- Proven Leadership:
Experience managing remote/distributed teams. - Master Influencer:
