JOB OVERVIEW
Reeder Distributors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Equipment Lift Technician with a background in automotive or heavy-duty lift repair to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing light to heavy duty automotive lifts to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Experience servicing automotive or heavy-duty lifts is strongly preferred. ALI Lift Inspection Certification is preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in electrical work or equipment maintenance is beneficial. Training may be provided for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude.
SHIFT AND SCHEDULEThis is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with standard hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to work overtime as needed. This requires some travel, including occasional overnight stays, and may involve weekend work for emergency call coverage.

EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform service, maintenance, and inspections on light-to-heavy duty lifts.
- Repair and replace defective parts, components, and systems as needed.
- Automotive lifts, in ground and above ground
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Forklift and OSHA certification preferred (training available)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Verifiable experience/history in a related field
- Clean driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team
- A desire to succeed and be a proactive team player
