Pay rate: $25-30/HR

Position Summary: Anistar is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as A/V equipment. MUST be comfortable working from a lift.

Requirements:

• Strong experience troubleshooting, terminating, and testing fiber optic cables
• Proficiency with Corning Unicam fiber termination (preferred)
• Experience with fusion splicing and/or anaerobic fiber termination methods
• Demonstrated ability to locate fiber faults and effectively repair issues
• Working knowledge of analog POTS lines, including using a butt set to trace and verify dial tone
• Experience supporting fax machines and alarm panels
• Ability to diagnose and resolve service-related issues independently in the field
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally (covering a 2-3 hour radius, staying out of town 1-2 days at a time maybe 1-2 times a month)

Preferred / Bonus Skills:

• Experience with CCTV systems
• Knowledge of access control systems
• Familiarity with paging systems
• Experience with A/V systems or other low-voltage technologies
