Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience leading commercial or enterprise A/V installations.
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience with AV hardware and low‑voltage systems.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to read construction documents.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with IP‑based AV systems and control platforms is a plus.
- Safety certifications (OSHA, lift training) and industry certifications (CTS, Crestron/Extron) are highly desirable.
- Lead full‑life‑cycle audio/visual system installations, including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, racks, cabling, control systems, and integration with security and network infrastructure.
- Interpret architectural drawings, wiring schematics, and signal flow diagrams to execute high‑quality installations.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior technicians and subcontractors on best practices, safety, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot, program, and commission AV and low‑voltage systems to ensure functionality and performance.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation, project logs, and status reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and clients to align installation goals, schedules, and deliverables.
- Ensure job site safety, compliance with company policies, and retention of equipment integrity throughout projects.
