Fleet Mechanic, Automotive Technician – Kansas City, MO

AAA Cooper Transportation is immediately hiring a reliable and experienced Mechanic to join the team at our Kansas City, KS Service Center. As a fleet mechanic, automotive technician, you will help the terminal ensure that equipment is well‑kept to allow the movement of freight throughout our network. • Bumper-to-bumper preventive maintenance service and/or repair to tractors and trailers

• Preventive maintenance inspections

• Electrical troubleshooting

• Brake system repair

• Tire maintenance

• Minor diesel engine repair

• Air conditioning system repair

• Competitive Compensation, Paid Weekly Pay range: $23-$32.76/hr DOE

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 18 years or older

• Previous experience in truck and trailer repair

• Working knowledge of most systems of a truck tractor, trailer, and dolly
