The position ensures public spaces, recreational facilities, and aquatic systems remain functional, safe, and well-maintained.

*** Performs all functions of a Maintenance Tech I.
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on public infrastructure, including parks, facilities, and aquatic systems.
* Troubleshoot and repair pool and splash pad equipment, including pumps, filters, and chemical feeders.
* Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems.
* Assist with maintenance and repairs of playground equipment under the direction of certified personnel, ensuring safety and functionality.
* Perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, HVAC and electrical work as needed.
* Operate and maintain a variety trade-related tools, including hand tools, power equipment, and maintenance vehicles.
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain organized records of inspections and repairs.
* Perform seasonal duties, including winterization of park facilities
* Remove trash and debris from work areas, parks and public spaces.
* Assists with snow removal as needed.
* Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned.
