- Overseeing an eight-person maintenance team
- Ensuring all industrial machinery is operating correctly and safely
- Verifying that custodial duties are completed effectively and plant standards are consistently met
- Managing and meeting preventive maintenance schedules
- Ensuring necessary materials and supplies are available for the team
- Responding to maintenance requests in accordance with plant standards
- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues
- Repairing pneumatic tools
- Diagnosing and repairing industrial electrical issues
- Training and coaching team members to build the skills required for their roles
- Communicating clearly and effectively with staff at all levels
- Using precision measuring tools to confirm that machine tolerances are within specification
