Full Time - Salary Range: $46,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
- Starting Salary: $46,000 – $50,000
- Bonus: $2,000 ( $1,000 Sign‑on bonus and $1,000 Retention bonus)
We are seeking a Foster Care Case Management Specialist KS to join our team.
What You Will Do- Manage and provide services to children and families referred under the Foster Care Case Management Contract.
- Engage in family finding to identify and take advantage of relative/kinship placement options for children in care.
- Utilize a broad range of recruitment strategies to recruit families and prospective homes to meet the needs of children requiring permanency.
- Continually analyse and assess each family and child situation on an individual basis, using advanced knowledge in child welfare to develop recommendations regarding supportive services and resources each child and family needs.
- Facilitate service planning with the child, family, and other treatment team members in accordance with Cornerstones of Care and DCF policy.
- Work with children/families and other treatment team members to obtain permanency, reunification, adoption, or guardianship.
- At least 2 years of work experience in the child welfare arena.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, or another human services related field (required).
- Master’s degree in social work, criminal justice, or another human services related field (preferred).
- At least 21 years of age and ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
