This position supports and reviews UPS Feeder dispatch operations to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective service. The role assists with dispatch planning, oversees load and tractor assignments, monitors load movement, and tracks equipment condition. Using data and performance metrics, this position develops efficient dispatch plans, verifies service levels, addresses performance issues, and implements operational adjustments as needed. The role also oversees yard operations, coordinates drivers with load volume, ensures trailers are positioned and loaded according to plan, and maintains accurate trailer inventory.

- Review driver hours to ensure compliance with DOT and company regulatory requirements
- Review and analyze safety reports and address identified safety concerns
- Verify proper driver uniform compliance and adherence to established safe work methods
- Supervise dispatch operations to ensure dispatch plans are executed efficiently and accurately
- Ensure adequate staffing and equipment levels to meet transportation and service needs
- Oversee load and tractor planning and assignments; monitor load movement and track equipment condition
- Review, analyze, and track dispatch, service, and operational reports and schedules
- Conduct hazardous materials audits in accordance with regulatory and company standards
- Perform trailer lot checks on UPS property to verify trailer condition, placement, and inventory accuracy
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent (required)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Six (6) months of office support experience (preferred)
- Willingness to work flexible shift hours, including weekends
- Ability to quickly learn and operate complex dispatch systems, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under supervision with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Accurate and rapid data entry skills and demonstrate typing proficiency of at least 30 words per minute
- Ability to perform trailer lot checks outdoors in inclement weather and varying conditions
- Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself - Required
