About the Role

As a Ready-Mix Driver, you'll be the face of our company, ensuring safe and timely delivery of ready-mix concrete to a variety of projects and customers. You'll operate modern equipment in both industrial and residential settings, often working independently while knowing our team has your back.

Main Responsibilities
  • Safely operate ready mix trucks to deliver concrete to job sites and company locations.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections by DOT standards.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials as needed.
  • Maintain accurate mileage logs and delivery records.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
  • Perform minor truck maintenance and keep your vehicle clean and orderly.
  • Support your team and supervisors with additional duties as required.
  • Deliver quality service and represent our company with professionalism and courtesy.
What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years' experience driving trucks of similar size and equipment preferred.
  • Valid CDL A or B license required; must maintain an active, clear record. (must be able to drive manual transmission)
Work Requirements
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
  • Hold a valid DOT medical card.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and PPE usage (company provided).
  • Willing to work up to 6 days a week with overtime as needed.
  • Flexible to work nights, weekends, and travel for assignments.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, strong communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor others if experienced.
  • Meet company, state, and federal driving standards.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Expertise in operating mixer trucks and related equipment.
  • Strong math, recordkeeping, and basic reading skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Experience in securing and transporting heavy or oversized loads.
  • Professional, courteous, and effective communication with customers and coworkers.
Physical &

Work Environment Requirements
  • Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
  • Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed.
  • Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
  • Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
