CDL B - Truck Driver

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our Kansas City, KS location.

Opportunity for overtime!

Flatbed, Knuckleboom, Laddervator, and/or Crane experience desired. Ability to drive manual preferred.

• Safely deliver products to job sites and unload material per customer requests.
• Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
• Unload shingles on one and two story homes using industry‑specific heavy equipment.
• Load trucks with scheduled materials, ensuring compliance with DOT weight regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at the warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to designated areas.

• Must be able to lift 50‑100 lbs. continuously and occasionally over 100 lbs.
• Must pass background check and pre‑employment DOT drug screen.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Heavy lifting experience.

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement (or CDL Class A with endorsement).
• 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.
• Flatbed with Moffett operating experience desired; willing to train.
• Knuckleboom and Box Truck operating experience desired; willing to train.
  
  Ability to drive manual transmission preferred.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
