Customer Service Representative – Industrial Logistics

Responsibilities

• Greet and process incoming truck drivers, ensuring timely check-in and dock flow
• Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, including pickups and deliveries
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email
• Provide accurate updates regarding shipment status, scheduling changes, and order details
• Maintain detailed and accurate records, including driver logs, shipment documentation, and customer communications
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment
• Address routine issues, elevate concerns as needed, and contribute to smooth daily operations

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Dependable with a strong sense of accountability and follow‑through
• Proficient in phone, email, and basic digital communication tools
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and record management
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or transportation environments preferred
• Familiarity with driver check‑in procedures and dock operations preferred
• Experience with scheduling systems or warehouse management software (WMS) preferred
