MATERIAL TECH - HIRING IMMEDIATELY! Job Description

This material handling role supports warehouse and shipping operations in a manufacturing environment. Associates will operate sit-down forklifts, tuggers, and HiLo forklifts while performing inventory control, material movement, shipping support, and warehouse organization. The position requires adherence to safety standards, use of electronic scanning equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while working in a fast-paced environment.

• Operate sit-down forklifts, tuggers, and HiLo equipment to move, store, and transport materials safely.
• Organize and stock materials, maintain inventory accuracy, and follow FIFO inventory procedures.
• Use scanners, tablets, and other electronic devices to process material transactions and document activities.
• Perform equipment inspections, maintain storage areas, support recycling efforts, and participate in inventory activities.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous forklift, warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience preferred.
• Basic computer, math, communication, and teamwork skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights up to 25 feet, and sit or stand for extended periods.

Pay : $17.00 / hour

Non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility with multiple fans and a clean, organized workspace. Employees work in a fast-paced warehouse environment where safety, quality, and material flow are top priorities.

Transportation assistance is available through the company's rideshare program, and employees receive a $0.50 pay increase upon permanent hire. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, KS.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Kansas City,KS.
