Chief of Staff KC is currently seeking a Senior Accountant for a trusted client in the Kansas City Metro area.
Responsibilities- Oversee a multitude of corporate accounting activities, including general ledger preparation, variance analysis, monitoring cash balances, reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and support of budget activities.
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements.
- Provide the information required in connection with various tax return filings.
- Develop and design automated reports requested by management.
- Ensure department objectives are met promptly and with the highest level of quality and accuracy.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
- BS in Accounting/Finance/related field of study
- At least 2-4+ years of corporate accounting experience or public accounting audit experience
- Experience/understanding of US GAAP
- CPA Strongly preferred
