We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and month‑end activities. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where accuracy matters.
Responsibilities- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations for month‑end and year‑end close
- Maintain balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and key general ledger accounts
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash application as needed
- Support financial reporting and assist with variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Assist with audit requests, budgeting support, and other projects as assigned
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting software
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
