The Staff Accountant will support the accounting and finance team with daily and monthly accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate policies and GAAP standards. This position is ideal for a motivated accounting professional seeking to build a strong career foundation in a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with accounts payable and receivable teams to ensure accurate financial data.
- Support external audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Participate in process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience; corporate experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems
