Manufacturing Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role will manage cost accounting activities, support month‑end closing, ensure accurate financial reporting, and partner closely with operations to drive financial visibility and efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing accounting experience, excellent analytical ability, and the leadership skills to guide a growing team.

• Oversee daily accounting functions including cost accounting, inventory accounting, AP/AR, and general ledger management.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate manufacturing‑specific financial reporting.
• Maintain and analyze standard costs, BOM accuracy, labor/overhead rates, and production variances.
• Conduct inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and review financial statements, operational performance reports, and supporting schedules.
• Collaborate with plant operations, supply chain, and production teams to analyze cost drivers and improve financial outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Experience with ERP systems (manufacturing modules preferred).
