Senior Tax Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Tax Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and supporting tax planning initiatives. This role requires strong technical knowledge of tax laws and excellent organizational skills.

• Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for the organization.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of tax-related accounts.
• Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Respond to tax notices and inquiries from regulatory authorities.
• Maintain and update tax records and documentation.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
• Stay current on changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in tax accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of tax codes, regulations, and compliance procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
