Accounting Coordinator

We're looking for an experienced Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys owning financial processes while also helping support the day-to-day operations of a growing business. The Opportunity

This position serves as a key member of our administrative and accounting team. You'll play an important role in managing customer billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, and office operations while partnering with managers across the company to keep projects moving efficiently.

What You'll Do

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Process customer billing, invoicing, collections, and payment applications
• Assist with job costing, financial reporting, and operational analysis
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies
• Analyze financial information using Excel and other business systems
• Support month-end reporting and ongoing accounting activities
• Assist with contract administration and financial tracking

Office & Business Operations

• Oversee daily administrative office functions
• Maintain customer, contract, billing, and project records
• Generate financial and operational reports for leadership
• Support managers with reporting, special projects, and process improvements
• Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and workflow

Customer & Team Support

• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Respond to customer questions regarding billing and account information
• Coordinate communication between accounting, operations, and leadership
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or office management experience
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, invoicing, and collections
• Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with job costing, contract administration, or project-based accounting preferred
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
