An Accounts Payable Specialist position is available an Accounts Payable Specialist for the payment team, you will play a vital role in processing invoices and transactions efficiently and accurately. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented and possess a solid understanding of accounts payable procedures within the construction industry.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING- Review, code, and process invoices, expense reports, and pay applications in the ERP system
- Execute payments (ACH, wire, check) accurately and on time; create and transmit payment files to banks
- Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payment issues, including voids and adjustments
- Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, maintaining professional and timely communication
- Set up and maintain vendor records in compliance with company policies and documentation requirements
- Manage high-volume workflows while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Track costs, support reporting requests, and assist with job cost monitoring
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient and timely accounts payable operations
- 1-4 years of accounts payable experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Required - Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred - Experience with vendor management; interest in process improvement and technology
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume, accurate work
- Effective problem-solving, research, and reconciliation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer/software systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate and build positive working relationships in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative
