• Monthly/Quarterly accounting in Quick Books
• Monthly/Quarterly Bank Reconciliations
• Monthly/Quarterly Financial Statement Preparation
• Year-end close (adjusting and depreciation entries)
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• State Registrations (payroll and sales tax)
• Consulting Projects as assigned

We're looking for someone who is meticulous about their work without losing sight of the people behind the numbers. Every role at AM CPA is client-facing, and the experience we provide our clients matters.

You’ll probably fit in well here if you:

• Can juggle competing priorities and deadlines while keeping a level head and positive attitude.
• Are flexible, adaptable, and willing to jump in when something needs to get done. One of our core values is “No one is too important to own any task,” and we live by it.
• Take confidentiality seriously.
• Have meticulous attention to detail and take pride in producing high-quality work.
• Can take direction when needed and delegate when appropriate. We're a collaborative environment and take teamwork very seriously.
• Actually find joy in accounting—and share that joy with our clients. Clients keep coming back because of the positive environment and experience.
• Are a problem solver with sound judgment. We don't micromanage, so being able to figure things out is a must.
• Communicate well, both verbally and in writing.

• Bachelor’s in Accounting (or related field) preferred
• 1-3 years of financial statement and general ledger maintenance experience preferred
• Payroll experience preferred
• Quick Books experience preferred
• Accounts payable experience preferred
