PositionSummary
The Fleet Compliance Processor is responsible for accurately processing and maintaining title, registration, cab card, and IFTA documentation for rental and fleet assets. This role operates in a high-accountability environment focused on accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. The position supports asset availability by ensuring credentials are properly maintained throughout the full asset lifecycle and that records are complete, compliant, and audit-ready.
EssentialDuties And Responsibilities
- Process titles, registrations, plates, and cab cards for rental and fleet assets
- Support IFTA credentialing, including account setup, renewals, and reporting assistance
- Review MSOs, titles, and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Maintain accurate title, cab card, and IFTA tracking records within internal systems
- Monitor credential status and follow up on pending items to prevent delays
- Coordinate with DMVs, lienholders, IFTA agencies, and third-party vendors as needed
- Research and resolve discrepancies, missing documentation, and routine compliance issues
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests
- Communicate status updates and issues to Asset, Operations, and Finance teams
- Follow established SOPs, compliance standards, and documentation requirements
- Support departmental reporting and team initiatives
- Provide cross-coverage support to Sales Title Operations based on business demand
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in vehicle titling, registration, fleet operations, cab cards, or IFTA preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn internal systems
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem‑solving skills with consistent follow‑through
- Ability to work effectively in a high‑expectation, performance‑focused environment
- Coachable and receptive to feedback
- Demonstrates increasing independence following training
- Utilizes notes, SOPs, and training materials to ensure accuracy and compliance
This role operates in a high-accountability environment with clearly defined standards for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. The manager is direct, sets high expectations, and prioritizes getting the work done correctly the first time. Training and documentation will be provided; however, employees are expected to take detailed notes, reference training materials, and work toward independent performance within a reasonable learning period.
