Project Coordinator (Contract-to-Hire) ā Kansas City, MO
Weāre looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to support executive leadership and project teams on large engineering & construction initiatives.
This role works directly with a VP and plays a key part in keeping projects organized, communicated, and on track.
If youāre highly organized, love managing details, and can build polished PowerPoint presentations (not just basic slides), this could be a great fit.

Marketing background is a strong plus
- Support Project Manager and executive leadership with administrative project coordination
- Prepare high-quality presentations, meeting notes, and reports (Excel & PowerPoint heavy)
- Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline project delivery
- Assist with client contracts and subcontract documentation
- Track project financials and generate status reports
- Organize project meetings, orientations, and training sessions
- Maintain document control and project records
- Verify invoices, expenses, and AR/unbilled items with accounting
- Monitor deadlines and assist with monthly progress reporting
- Support project closeout and forecasting updates
- OR High School Diploma/GED + 11 yrs experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (
PowerPoint expertise required
) - Strong organization and multitasking ability
- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
- Marketing or communications background
- Experience supporting engineering, construction, or technical project teams
