Job Description – Title Specialist
Experience Level: Entry Level
Position SummaryThe Title Specialist is responsible for processing, reviewing, and resolving vehicle title issues across multiple states. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage title documentation from receipt to final verification. The Title Specialist ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of title-related information while supporting internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and respond to incoming title issues through email, text, and phone, ensuring prompt and thorough communication.
- Take full ownership of title-related inquiries, resolving issues or escalating them to the appropriate team when needed.
- Process vehicle titles from various states, carefully checking for accuracy, completeness, and marketability.
- Receive and document incoming packages from UPS, Fed Ex, and USPS.
- Distribute titles to the correct departments in a timely and organized manner.
- Review titles for errors, missing information, or discrepancies.
- Create required documents to support title marketability.
- Sort titles by VIN and prepare them for distribution to the proper buyers.
- Upload title information into internal systems once verification is complete and the title is confirmed accurate.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in vehicle title processing or a related automotive documentation role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve title-related issues efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
