Education Division Support Specialist
This position is responsible for supporting the Education Division by providing administration, account management, clerical and customer support.
The following is a brief summary of the duties and responsibilities of this position. This is not meant to be all encompassing of the responsibilities of the position:
- Preparation of RFPs (requests for proposals) and associated marketing and sales materials
- Preparation of renewals for staff
- Enrollments and invoicing
- Direct engagement with clients to manage accounts
- Formation/review of file uploads to carrier sites
- Update client contacts and other information as needed within Benefit Point and EPIC
- Communicate with clients regarding claims issues/questions regarding primary insurance (domestic and international)
- Maintain client filing system
- Creation of PowerPoint presentations
- Assist in answering client questions
- Other duties as assigned

- Self-starter, ability to take task and complete to finish with minimal supervision

- High level of organizational ability and attention to detail
- Ability to learn/adapt to new technology quickly
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook)
- Experience with Benefit Point and EPIC preferred
- Strong Communication skills both oral and written within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
- Customer Service focused
- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Active Life & Health insurance license (MO) or must obtain within 120 days of employment
- HS Diploma/GED Required;
Bachelor's degree preferred
