Automotive Technician, Automotive Mechanic
Northtowne Lincoln is seeking a Certified Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team. This position is ideal for an experienced technician with strong diagnostic skills who takes pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing vehicle concerns, performing repairs according to manufacturer standards, and ensuring each repair order is completed accurately and efficiently.

- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and drivability systems
- Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended repairs
- Provide accurate estimates for additional repair needs and timelines
- Execute warranty repairs in compliance with Lincoln/Ford manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Stay current on Lincoln/Ford technical bulletins, training, and repair procedures
- 2+ years of Automotive Service Technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ASE Certification preferred
- Lincoln/Ford Certification preferred
- Previous experience at a Lincoln or Ford dealership is a plus
- B-Level Technician skills preferred, including diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
