Budget Car and Truck Rental of Kansas City is part of the Budget's largest licensee in North America, based out of Atlanta, GA. With multiple airport and community locations across cities such as Salt Lake City, Omaha, Atlanta, Kansas City, Memphis, and more, Budget Car and Truck Rental offers a diverse fleet of rental vehicles. These include sedans, luxury cars, SUVs, cargo vans, and moving trucks.

Budget services cater to leisure, business travel, corporate accounts, group trips, and long-term rentals, meeting a wide array of customer needs.

Role Description

The Business Development Manager – Corporate and Group Rentals will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building relationships with corporate and group clients, and developing partnerships to drive rental revenue growth. Key tasks include client acquisition, contract negotiation, and managing corporate accounts to ensure satisfaction and long-term collaboration. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area, but will cover the Midwest region including Omaha and Lincoln down to Wichita.

The position will require strong sales and relationship-building expertise to achieve business goals and market growth.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to conduct market research and develop data-driven strategies for growth
  • Organizational skills for managing multiple clients, contracts, and initiatives
  • Proficiency in tools like CRM software and general Microsoft Office programs
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively with a team to meet performance targets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Prior experience in the car rental, hospitality, or transportation industry is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client meetings
