What you’ll do

The Senior Benefits Analyst will be a key member of the benefits team, responsible for managing the administration of the 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) and the non-qualified Deferred Compensation Plan (DCP) for the organization. This role will ensure smooth administration and compliance of all assigned plans and benefits. Encouraged to look at all programs with fresh eyes and drive process improvements and new ideas forward.

Day to day you’ll…

  • Own total program management and day‑to‑day oversight for the 401(k) Plan including reconciling deferrals, full audit support, employer match calculation and processing, match true‑up calculation and processing, communications, compliance, etc.
  • Coordinate all Employee Benefits Committee meetings – review and organize materials, conduct prep meetings, ensure all materials are submitted, consolidated, and provided to committee members, attend all meetings, and complete follow‑up items and analysis as necessary.
  • Own total program management and day‑to‑day oversight of the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Manage eligibility determinations, all aspects of the purchase, communications, audits, compliance, etc.
  • Compile, summarize, and identify trends in data for benefits programs and processes to ensure our benefits are current, cost effective and competitive. Make recommendations, with supporting analysis, for program enhancements or changes. Ensure data integrity by running and analyzing parallel reports. Data analysis to identify and isolate any possible issues or opportunities for improvement and drive the process to remediate the issue.
  • Lead complex vendor implementation projects from end to end – participate in the RFP process, and contribute to defining requirements, plan design decisions and vendor selection. Track and monitor all deadlines to ensure they are met, collaborate on marketing and communications materials, etc.
  • Manage smaller vendor programs to ensure we are optimizing the relationship, communicating available resources, etc.
  • Support associates, the People & Culture team, and other business groups by answering questions, providing education, completing analysis, and creating clear and concise associate communications.
  • Share responsibility for conducting new associate benefit orientations, supporting leave of absence cases, and back‑up administration for other benefit programs.
  • Partner with the Workday team to ensure system configuration is correct and work on any system issues.
What you’ll bring to the team Education
  • Required – Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, human resources, or related field or equivalent through combination of education and related work experience.
Work Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years related work experience with responsibility for a variety of benefit plans for a large, multi‑state employer
  • Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of regulations and compliance requirements across applicable federal, state, and local regulations such as ERISA, ACA, IRC Section 401(k), IRC Section 125, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADAA
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products – PowerPoint, Word, Excel at intermediate to advanced level (pivot tables, v‑lookup, queries, advanced formulas, macros)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
