Role Overview

We are hiring an Account Executive – New Business to drive net‑new revenue and help define our go-to-market engine.

This is a true hunter role.

You will build pipeline, own a defined book of business, and close new logos in a market that still runs heavily on spreadsheets and manual processes. You will create opportunity through disciplined outbound prospecting and strategic industry engagement.

What You'll Own Revenue & Territory
  • Carry a new business ARR quota
  • Own a defined book of Manufacturer and Distributor accounts
  • Build and maintain 3–5x pipeline coverage
  • Close net-new logos and expand early wins
Pipeline Creation (Primarily Outbound)
  • Prospect daily via phone, email, Linked In, referrals, and industry events
  • Penetrate buying groups across operations, IT, pricing, finance, and executive leadership
  • Identify inefficiencies in SPA management, EDI data, pricing accuracy, and rebate workflows
  • Create urgency around operational risk and margin leakage
Full-Cycle SaaS Execution
  • Run structured discovery
  • Quantify ROI and build financial business cases
  • Deliver compelling demos (with support as needed)
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder buying committees
  • Control deal progression and close with urgency
  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and forecasting discipline
Build the GTM Machine

As an early AE, you won't just close deals — you will help build the motion:

  • Provide feedback on messaging and positioning
  • Identify repeatable patterns in wins and losses
  • Contribute to playbooks and outbound sequences
  • Represent Celerity at NAED, NEMRA, IDEA, AD, and other channel events
Who You Are

You are a builder and a hunter.

You likely have:

  • 3–8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Experience in outbound-heavy environments
  • A track record of exceeding quota
  • Experience selling into the electrical or industrial distribution channel (strongly preferred)
  • High urgency and strong internal drive
  • Comfort operating without perfect structure
  • Executive presence and business acumen
  • Negotiation and closing skills
  • Resilience and accountability

  • Prefers account management over new logo acquisition
  • Needs a steady stream of inbound leads
  • Struggles with ambiguity
